“Oh my god, Becky. Look at her bike. It is so CUTE!”
Instagram vs. Reality ➡️ rainy day Valentine edition 💗
When I was about 14, my parents got fed up with my refusal to participate in organized sports and forcibly made me exercise, insisting it would benefit my mental health (spoiler alert: they turned out to be right, which is really annoying).
Hold my beer 🍺 gotta take a picture of my bike 😍
“There's no excuse for the young people not knowing who the heroes and heroines are or were.”
Still waiting on a few back ordered parts to complete my new commuter build (which will allow for more junk in the trunk).. but I have to admit, it’s kinda fun taking my gravel bike around town. It’s certainly easier to navigate around potholes and cut across unpaved areas, and I can fit all the essentials in my @pocampobags bar bag and backpack. And since most of my trips are under 5 miles, I’m not bothering with bike shoes. Think I’ll make it through the longest January ever after all 🙏
Cleaned up some roadside trash between intervals today. I guess whoever was drinking Modelo in the woods wanted to keep their hands clean, but not Mother Natch? #Rude
We made it to the weekend! Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses, and by smell the roses I mean please pause to appreciate how my bottle cages perfectly match this new mural I found.
“There is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.”
Let us not take for granted the trajectory of that long moral arc of the universe. It is not simply predestined to bend towards justice on its own; it requires the work of those who, like Dr. King and so many others, are willing to risk and sacrifice it all to make it so.

Like finding a random unmarked bike path on your way to an unfamiliar destination. Thanks, google maps!
